July 2009 - Myson Heats Leeds Schools From Under The Floor
Myson, the leading name in heating technology, has been chosen to provide the warmth for six schools in Leeds. HJL Underfloor Ltd selected Gateshead-based Myson’s underfloor heating (UFH) systems to be installed in the schools it is helping to build. Business support organisation Interserve is developing the new secondary schools as part of a framework agreement with Leeds City Council and the Building Schools for the Future Programme and HJL is one of the leading contractors on the project. June 2009 - Youth Village guests will get a warm welcome, thanks to Myson
Myson’s underfloor heating (UFH) team will help young people receive a warm welcome when they visit a Youth Village currently being built in County Durham. Myson UFH is being installed throughout the site in Allensford, Consett, which is being built by Able Construction (Northern) Ltd on behalf of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Newcastle and Hexham. To make the site environmentally friendly, Felling-based Able Construction have brought in Newcastle experts Geowarmth Heat Pumps Ltd to put ground source heat pumps and UFH into the four buildings, which will provide accommodation for up to 100 young people. Myson’s Underfloor Heating team is helping a North East businessman to heat the dream home he is building in Northumberland – under the scrutiny of a top TV show. Almost 15 years ago, Stefan Lepkowski first saw the building, an old mill on a country estate, which he thought could be transformed into his dream home. However, at the time, its owners were not willing to sell.
