Close Coupled LST Kit

The Close Coupled LST Kit is suitable for TOBE or BOE connections to the radiator. This arrangement offers a choice of positions for both the valve body and the sensor head.

The kit allows the thermal sensing head to be mounted to the top right or left hand side of the enclosure. On Myson LST radiators the point of fitting on the casing has been half sheared and only requires for it to be knocked out for ease of fitting the control. The valve body is connected to the heat emitter and is connected to the sensing element via a capillary extension lead. The flexible capillary unit allows the sensing head to be fitted to the most appropriate side of the radiator to sense the room temperature for best control.
This kit will allow the opening of the casing for ease of cleaning without the need to disconnect any of the components.

The Close Coupled kit comprises: 

  • Myson thermostatic sensing head
  • Vertical angle TRV body (15mm/1/2” BSP)
  • Myson Fullflow lockshield valve (15mm/1/2”BSP)
  • 2m Capillary coupling unit.

Myson Close Coupled Kit features:

  • TRV Conformation to BS EN215-1
  • Maximum operating pressure 10 Bar
  • Maximum water temperature 120°C
  • Maximum differential pressure 0.6 Bar
  • Sensing element is liquid filled.
  • Hysteresis < 0.5°K
  • Finish is nickel and chrome.
  • Controlling range 8 - 28°C.
  • Fullflow L/S valve fully compliant with BS 2767-10

 

Direct Fit LST Kit

This kit is suitable for TOBE connection only.

This kit utilises a head horizontal valve body fitted to the top connection of the radiator. The sensing head is connected to the valve body via an extension adaptor that allows the sensing head to project through the radiator enclosure. A Myson Matchmaster lockshield radiator valve is included in the kit for control of the water flow through the radiator.

The Myson Direct Fit Kit comprises:

  • Myson thermostatic sensing head.
  • Head horizontal TRV body (15mm/1/2”BSP) 
  • Extension adaptor
  • Panel Bush
  • Myson Matchmaster L/S valve.

Myson Direct Fit Kit features:

  • TRV Conformation to BS EN215-1
  • Maximum operating pressure 10 Bar
  • Maximum water temperature 120°C
  • Maximum differential pressure 0.6 Bar
  • Sensing element is liquid filled.
  • Hysteresis < 0.5°K
  • Finish is satin brass.
  • Controlling range 8 - 28°C.
  • Matchmaster L/S valve fully compliant with BS 2767-10.
