Q. Does my system need a corrosion inhibitor?

It may be beneficial to utilize a corrosion inhibitor; indeed it is a requirement of some central heating service companies that a specific concentration of inhibitor is maintained in the system.  All system additives must be utilised in accordance with the manufacturer’s installation requirements.  Corrosion inhibitors and other system additives should not be used in an attempt to mask system faults such as aeration or leaks.
